Nest supports female artisans around the world, bringing greater awareness and opportunity to the handcraft economy, a leading source of employment for women globally. This nonprofit organization benefits more than 2,000 artisan businesses — 76% of which are female-owned or -led and employ a majority-female workforce — to help build greater gender equity and economic inclusion.
Good360
Good360 is the global leader in product philanthropy and purposeful giving. It partners with 400+ socially responsible companies to source highly needed goods and distribute them through its network of more than 90,000 diverse nonprofits that support people in need. Since its inception, Good360 has distributed more than $10 billion in needed goods, helping transform lives by providing hope, dignity, and a sense of renewed possibility to individuals, families, and communities impacted by disasters and other challenging life circumstances.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®
Thanks and Giving® is an unprecedented coming together of celebrities, media, retail, and corporate partners that asks consumers to “give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not.” St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Community Charity Fund of Garnet Hill
The Community Charity Fund of Garnet Hill (CCF) was created in 1992 by a group of Garnet Hill employees seeking a way to help other employees and community members in need. The committee is dedicated to aiding local approved nonprofit organizations and individuals in the communities in which Garnet Hill employees reside. It has expanded over the years in its fund-raising efforts (auctions, raffles, bake sales), involvement with local charities, and development as a resource for employees and local families during times of crisis (such as house fires, injuries, and illnesses). CCF is a great way for Garnet Hill employees to get involved and support one another and the community in which they live.
Keeping It Local
For our annual Community Service Day, over 100 Garnet Hill employees turn out in force — rakes, shovels, hammers, paintbrushes, and work gloves in hand. Plans are under way for our next Community Service Day, when we will again help open up our neighboring Copper Cannon Camp for the season.
