When you’re happy, we’re happy!

If something you purchase doesn’t work out, we’d like to make it right. Within 90 days of the original purchase date, you can return your new, unused items for an exchange or refund.

When the 90-day period ends, our commitment to assuring quality in every stitch does not. Should an item be defective, we’ll replace it for up to one full year from the date of purchase. Please clearly explain the defect to a store associate or member of our Customer Service team. We’ll inspect your return to verify the issue. After our review, you’ll receive an exchange, refund, or merchandise credit. You’ll find that quality and integrity are more than language here; they are fundamental to the Garnet Hill experience.

Final sale, monogrammed, customized, and made-to-order items are nonreturnable and cannot be canceled or modified after the order is placed.* Exceptions are made for defective items and items damaged during delivery. Whenever possible, we encourage you to order upholstery fabric swatches for made-to-order furniture before you make a purchase; metal/wood swatches can be ordered upon special request by calling customer service at 800.870.3513.

*PLEASE NOTE: There is a 48-hour grace period to cancel or modify made-to-order furniture items, including special-order upholstery. After this period, a 25% restocking fee will be applied.

What to do if you need to return or exchange your Garnet Hill purchase for any reason. (It’s easy!)

Online & Phone Order Returns & Exchanges

Within 90 days of the original shipping date, new, unused items can be returned for an exchange or refund. (Refunds do not include shipping and handling fees.) Items ordered online or by phone cannot be returned to a store location.

Following the instructions on your packing slip, send us your items using the standard UPS or USPS return label included with your order. For your records, please jot down the tracking number from the label.

Can’t find the included return label? You can also create and print a UPS return label here. . Please make a note of the tracking number from the label or remove and retain the top portion where the number appears. Then take your package to UPS. You can find the nearest location at UPS.com or schedule a pickup. Please note that UPS charges more for scheduled pickups.

If you need to make an exchange, please call 800-870-3513 or use the return packing slip that was included in your package.

For exchanges, there is no charge to return the item, and the new merchandise will be shipped to you with no shipping fee. For returns, there is a $8.95 shipping fee per package with our label.

Should you prefer to pay for your own return shipping and insurance via the carrier of your choice, please still include the standard return label and ship to:

Please note that some oversized items such as rugs require special handling when returning or exchanging. Please follow the instructions included with your purchase.

Store Returns and Exchanges (Except Outlet)

In-store purchases must be returned to a store location. If you are not happy with your purchase, simply bring it back to the store with your original receipt within 90 days for an exchange or refund. Lost your receipt? Unused items in new condition can also be returned without a receipt for merchandise credit at the current selling price, upon review.

Price Adjustments: A one-time price adjustment may be completed within 14 days of a purchase made in our full-price store. The price difference will be credited to the original form of payment or merchandise credit.

Outlet Store Returns and Exchanges

If you are not happy with your apparel purchase, you may return it to the outlet store within 7 days of purchase with a receipt for an exchange or refund. All home and bedding sales are final and nonreturnable. Price adjustments are not valid in our outlet store. Items purchased from the outlet store cannot be returned or exchanged at a full-price store.
